The food was very tasty and you could tell it had been made from fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend the flat bread. The artichoke dip was good as well and I loved the option of crackers and bread. A load of farm fresh eggs was also brought in while we were eating. It just added to the atmosphere of small town cafe.

Good folks here making tasty espresso and purveying bottled/canned beers as well as wines. The storefront is quite cozy and warm with cool maps and a globe to play with. There's a corner for small kids to be with some toys and the like. On occasion they have live music and an area to sit outside.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting. It’s right off the “main drag” through town. We were told this would be a great lunch spot. We are the tortilla soup and salad, and pesto mozzarella panini. Service was friendly, and quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted home-made, and the flavors were just right. Not a huge menu but I’m sure it’s because everything gets made fresh. My panini was crispy, hot and excellently cheesy. The ambiance in the coffee shop/restaurant was so lovely…rustic, authentic, wooden beams and original ceiling, brick walls, creaky-cozy hardwood floors, warm vibes all around, and you could tell this restaurant has seen many small group gatherings and musical events too. (Old piano in the corner and speaker system up near the ceiling.) I bought a piece of handmade pottery to take home with me by local artist, Jacob Van Wyk, and will definitely return again anytime I’m in town.

Took my daughter here after finding it on the web. So cool and great drinks and food. Smoothies were over the top flavorful, and the peach muffin was dreamy. Tomato bisque soup up next!

This is a neat cafe. Small town atmosphere, yet that shouldn’t let you believe this place couldn’t be like one of your favorite similar places. This is reminiscent of what you would find in a college town. But again, don’t let that make you feel this place is for just the college age. Youth, all the way up to elderly will be comfortable here. Wifi is available for those wanting it. The tomato soup and croissant I had were both very good. Nice atmosphere here, and employees are friendly. Place was well laid out, and clean. I would t hesitate to try here again, and I would feel it was well worth your time to try it as well.

I found myself up in Sioux Center for work yesterday and as a group we were going to the fruited plain. I had never heard of this location, but they assured me that I was going to enjoy it. From the outside, it just looks like an older brick storefront on their main street, but once inside, it has such a cute eclectic coffee shop vibe that is putting out really good food in addition to coffee. There were a number of different nooks to enjoy coffee and conversation in private, a fairly large dining area, and a separate room that I imagine could be used for a large group or just spill over for the lunch service. I opted for their Panini that had ham, brie, and apple with a cup of tomato bisque. My colleague got the curried chicken salad on croissant (both our sandwiches were the half size!) with a cup of potato and carrot soup. A couple of the people we were with got their flatbread pizzas, which also sounded and looked delicious. If you find yourself in town and are looking for a pick me up or a delicious lunch, definitely check it out!

Food and drinks are good here. The cookies are really phenomenal. Had alot of flies inside though when we were trying to do homework. Not a fault of the coffee shop but they were a nuisance I heard other people mention as well. Connected right to Side Bar which is convenient if you want a drink without the bar atmosphere.

Just in town, passing through, and stopped to get some work done for a couple of hours. LOVED the vibe and space! Coffee drinks were great! A little tough with how warm and humid it was inside in the afternoon on a hot day outside. But understand it's an old building so all good!
